And that’s exactly what we at Argos in Cappadocia set out to do some years ago: to discover and to reveal for our guests the real enchantment of Cappadocia. A stunning terrain formed over millions of years by the lava and ashes spewed from Mount Erciyes and Mount Hasandağı; carved by water and wind over millennia; and sculpted ivory-like by monks, priests and master stone cutters… A dizzying miracle of nature, adorned in bridal white in winter, decked out in red roses and gurgling fountains in spring, full of wild oleaster and nightingale song come summer…

Companion to the clouds, Uçhisar boasts panoramic views of the Cappadocia plateau and looks out over the natural fortresses of Başhisar and Ortahisar… Spread out along Pigeon Valley (Güvercinlik Vadisi), its foothills are a fairyland of charming houses and sprawling mansions connected by underground tunnels, of churches, monasteries and freshwater springs… A unique heritage, and for centuries one of the foremost dwelling places of the people of Cappadocia, Uçhisar salutes majestic Mount Erciyes every morning and is bathed in silver moonlight every night…

Transportation

Uçhisar is located 7 km east of Nevşehir, 12 km west of Ürgüp and 10 km south of Avanos. It is situated in the exact center of the large Cappadocia triangle 80 kilometers from Aksaray to the west, Kayseri to the east and Niğde to the south on the Üçhisar highway. There are daily scheduled flights from Istanbul to Kayseri and the Nevşehir Cappadocia Airport.

In our stone rooms , which vary in size from 16 m2 to 24 m2, you may experience a monastic Cappadocian cave ambiance or a classical Cappadocian room.

Deluxe
Our comfortable Deluxe rooms all provide a view and up to 60 m2, along with a chimney and iPod deck options.

Suite
Our suites range in size from 43 m2 to 73 m2 with cave, terrace, balcony and courtyard options. You can spend a delightful time with the music system and iPod deck in these spacious accommodations featuring a separate living area.

Splendid Suite
Our spacious and airy splendid suites range from 43 to 93 m2 and additionally, its own private pool are ideal for those who want to spend time in the room with a music system and iPod deck.

In our splendid suites, you will have a view of the garden and experience the historic beauty of accommodations

that are half stone with the other half carved into living rock. You can also enjoy their own private pools in the spacious and comfortable splendid suites that are situated entirely within the cave.

The splendid suites with a terrace have the bedroom and living areas separated so that, if you want, you can lounge in the pool on the bottom floor or spend your time looking at the enchanting view from the terrace of your room.

The sitting niche in our splendid suites located under a gigantic arch has its own garden and terrace. You can look out over Pigeon Valley and gaze upon Mt. Erciyes as you sip a drink in your room or you can cool off in our pool on the bottom floor.

All designed in a different style, the Argos In Cappadocia offers a great variety of guest rooms and suites at 5 different mansions.

There are 42 rooms, suites and splendid suites with the latter including private cave pools.The rooms are between 16 and 60 square meters in size, while the suites range from 43 to 93 square meters
